Naomi was drawn to yoga as a way to quiet her mind and de-stress in her late teens and early 20s. Luckily for her, the yoga studio was located right next to her apartment so it made going easier. Yoga has been a part of her life since then.
Naomi received her 200-hour yoga teacher training certification in the summer of 2015 after studying on the beautiful Hawaiian island, of Kauai. Immediately after yoga teacher training, she studied Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy in Portland Oregon at the Sarasvati Institute of Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy. She received an additional 300 hours of training and graduated as an Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor in 2016. For Naomi Ayurveda opened up her heart to understanding all of the benefits of yoga and beyond. It truly helped her heal in many profound ways by learning and adjusting her lifestyle and mindset as needed. Yoga to Naomi is a mindset of peace and Ayurveda is a reflection into the lifestyle with intention. Naomi enjoys teaching intuitive yoga, seeing what is needed, and making yoga accessible to everyone in the class. She has taught in retreat settings since 2017 and truly enjoys being a guide for others on their healing journey. Naomi is also a meditation teacher, crystal reiki practitioner, and metaphysical gemstone jewelry artist.
